The mission for e3eco group is to build the best buildings
and if we do this to the best of our ability these buildings will be
sustainable. Our focus is to move away
from fossil fuels and products that are not sustainable or giving back
to the environment. Our project experience has been holistically focused on
developing homes that are energy efficient, reduced material waste, and
have a sense of integrity in our work. |

Deborah van der Horst, Senior Associate,
CEA - Certified Energy Advisor - Natural Resources Canada (Energuide
for New Houses), Diplom Ingenieur Architektur (Dipl.Ing.Arch.) from the
Technical University of Braunschweig (Brunswick), B.A. From the
University of British Columbia and 4 years as a research assistant in

After her work at UBC, Deborah studied
Architecture in Europe. European architectural training places a great
emphasis on integrating sustainability into the design process. To
reach that end Deborah would like to see the ecological aspect of a
building, from design to completion, as an integral part of the process
rather than an added step. Her ideal is to make sustainable building
become the standard building practice with e3ecogroup. |
