The first step for the homeowner is to contact a Certified Energy Advisor, such as us, to have the initial evaluation done.  The initial evaluation must be done prior to having the old heating system removed, and the homeowner pays for the service directly to the CEA. 

The initial evaluation costs $300 plus GST at the time of the evaluation.. 

Within 18 months the homeowner contacts us for the re-test, where we re-visit the house to document the changes and apply for both grants for the homeowner.  The fee for the re-test is $195.00+GST and is not re-imbursed.
